Care Instructions
Our fabric is hardwearing and easy to clean, a simple vacuuming using low suction to remove dust and dirt on a regular basis will help keep it looking clean. If a more thorough clean is needed, simply unzip the covers and remove the inserts to wash the covers. Wash your covers at a maximum of 30 degrees celsius and do not tumble dry. Full washing instructions can be found on the cover care label.
Steer clear from any harsh cleaning products and wipe up spills quickly with an absorbent cloth or paper towel.
As with any piece of furniture, extended exposure in direct sunlight may cause discolouration to the fabric and the timber over time.

Real sofa. Real people.
What are sofa beds?
Sofa beds can be so many things. By day, they’re a place to nap on a warm afternoon. By night, they’re a comfortable bed for post-dinner party guests, slow Sundays, or living rooms that moonlight as bedrooms.
They have many names: couch bed, fold out couch, or pull out sofa bed, but the idea is the same. Sofa beds are built to switch from sitting to sleeping in seconds. Combining the comfort of a couch with the support of a mattress.
Are sofa beds easy to convert from a sofa to a bed?
They should be, but many are not. Some sofa beds require heavy lifting or cushions that never quite sit right again. That’s why we designed the Slideaway Sofa Bed to move differently. With a smooth sliding mechanism and no clunky hinges, it transforms from sofa to daybed to sofa bed in a matter of seconds.
Are sofa beds comfortable?
Sofa beds have a reputation for being either too firm, too saggy, or somewhere uncomfortably in between. We believe a pull out sofa bed should never feel like a compromise.
Comfort comes down to what’s underneath. A supportive base. Quality cushioning. A design that’s made for comfort. The Slideaway Sofa Bed is built with a strong slatted mechanism and memory foam that allows rest to come easy.
Is the Eva Slideaway Sofa Bed suitable for everyday use?
Absolutely. The Slideaway Sofa Bed isn’t just for occasional guests. It’s designed to be lived on, every day. As a 3 seater sofa bed, it works just as beautifully as your main couch as it does as a double bed.
In sofa mode, it offers supportive cushioning and generous space to stretch out. Extended into daybed mode, it becomes the perfect place to press pause. Move the back cushions to set it up as a sofa bed, and it transforms into a double bed with support from edge to edge.
What sizes do Eva sofa beds come in?
The Slideaway Sofa Bed comes in the one size. But it doesn’t stay the same, depending on how you use it, the size changes.
In sofa mode, it’s a comfortable 3 seater sofa bed. Fully extend it into daybed mode, and you have extra space to stretch out. Move the back cushions and it becomes a double bed, ready for a good night’s sleep.
What are the dimensions of the sofa beds?
In sofa mode, the Slideaway Sofa Bed measures 188 cm wide and 111 cm deep, with 57 cm of room to lounge comfortably.
Fully extended as a sofa bed or daybed, the depth reaches 153 cm, with 117 cm of sleeping space, giving you plenty of space for naps or a full night’s rest.
How will my sofa bed arrive?
Your sofabed will come in the following four boxes (dimensions are in mm):
- Back and arms: 2040mm (l) x 860mm (w) x 230mm (h) - 31kg
- Base: (1960mm (l) x 990mm (w) x 110mm (h) - 43kg
- Cushions: 900mm (l) x 490mm x (w) x 490 (h) - 30kg
- Covers: 560mm (l) x 340mm x 160mm (h) - 5kg
Please note, the covers will come separately to the pillow inserts, so you’ll need to put the covers on when the sofa bed arrives. To help with this, we have prepared an assembly instruction video.
How much weight can the Slideaway Sofa Bed withstand?
The Slideaway Sofa Bed has been designed to be lightweight but incredibly strong & durable.
Your sofa bed weighs approximately 105kg in total & can withstand up to 300kg in weight.
How long will my sofa bed cushions take to expand?
All of the cushions on your Slideaway Sofa Bed have been compressed. Once opened the cushions can take up to 48 hours to completely recover. We suggest plumping up the side and the back cushions by hand for a quicker recovery time.

Australia’s Award-Winning Sofa Bed: The Best Sofa Bed for Modern Living
Sofa beds shouldn’t feel like a compromise. At Eva, we believe sofa beds should be just as comfortable as your favourite couch and just as restful as your best night’s sleep, all while moving easily between the two.
The Slideaway Sofa Bed was made for today’s way of living. Whether you’re hosting overnight guests, stretching out for a movie marathon, or living in a space where every piece of furniture has to earn its keep. Switching from sofa to sofa bed is simple, easy and surprisingly satisfying. If you’re looking for the best sofa bed in Australia, the Slideaway Sofa Bed ticks every box: comfort, practicality, and beautiful design.
A Sofa Bed That’s Actually Comfortable
Let’s be honest, most sofa beds get a bad rap. They’re either too firm, too saggy, or full of mystery lumps. That’s why we designed our sofa bed from the inside out, starting with comfort.
The supportive cushioning is made from high-quality foam and a strong, slatted base that doesn’t sag or sink over time. When fully extended, Eva’s sofa bed becomes a true double sofa bed. No bars in your back, and no strange splits down the middle.
It’s the kind of pull-out sofa bed you actually want to use, every night. Or nap on every day. Comfortable enough for guests, good-looking enough to be your everyday sofa, and strong enough to last. No wonder so many call it the best sofa bed Australia has to offer.
The 3 Seater Sofa Bed That's Designed With Real Life in Mind
Beautiful furniture should also be practical. Spills happen, guests arrive unannounced and sometimes you just need more space.
The Slideaway 3 seater sofa bed was built for it all:
- Tool-free assembly: So you’re not spending hours figuring out which bolt goes where.
- Easy-slide mechanism: Move from sofa to sofa bed in seconds — no clunky hinges or wrestling with cushions.
- Removable and washable covers: Because life’s messy, and that’s okay.
From city apartments to family homes, this sofa bed moves with the rhythm of your life. Comfort, style, and function, all in one.
The Best Sofa Bed in Australia - Made for Australian Living

At Eva, our aim is to help create homes that feel better to live in. The Slideaway Sofa Bed is designed to move with you, to support your life (and your guests’) in all the little ways that matter.
It’s a sofa bed you can sink into for a slow morning, pull out when friends stay over, or stretch across for a quiet night to yourself (wine in hand). One piece, many moods, and always exactly what you need.
